'A BeauTEAful Attitude'
Attitude is everything! Raeann Kusch, author of “The Personal Touch – Encouraging Others through Hospitality” will share uplifting stories to encourage us each to have BeauTEAful attitudes.
May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 15: 5-6 NIV
Ladies Aid Group
This group meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 9:00 am at the Sunday School for a work session. In addition to making quilts for World Relief and being responsible for preparing funeral meals, their August rummage sale and Christmas peanut brittle sale allows them to support many charities throughout the year. All ladies are invited to attend.
A Message from President Christy Martin
I’ve been a member of St Paul for 52 years. I have 2 grown children and 4 grandchildren. My grands enjoy helping me at church. My children were raised here and at St. John while attending school. My grandchildren attend church almost every Sunday with me.
I remember as a young girl and young woman helping my mother and grandmother with Altar guild duties & Harvest dinners. Mother’s Day banquets and church potlucks were the best. My favorite church memory is sitting in the basement of the old church eating delicious salads and desserts with all the ladies.
Currently I’m the president of Ladies Aid. Our group of Ladies prepare Funeral dinners, organize fundraisers, run Harvest Dinners and have a huge Peanut Brittle sale in the fall/winter, which funds our end of year donations to multiple organizations. I am having a great time introducing our group to new fundraising projects. We make quilts for donation to organizations in need and quilts to sell as fundraisers. New Ladies Aid members are always welcome. Come join us!
